Note on weighted average calculation

In this lesson let me help you on weighted average calculation. Before i go in for examples, let me explain what does weighted average mean?

What Does Weighted Average Mean?
An average in which each quantity to be averaged is assigned a weight. These weightings determine the relative importance of each quantity on the average. Weightings are the equivalent of having that many like items with the same value involved in the average.

Weighted Average Calculation - Example

Ex 1 : Find the weighted A.M. from the following data.

Tom bought 20 science books @ 10each 15Bibles@ 8 each and 15 story books @ $5 each

Sol: Here weight = number of books and cost of the books = x

Name of the books cost (x) No. of books (w) wx Science $10 20 200
Bibles $ 8 15 120
Story books $ 5 15 75
Σw= 50 Σwx = 395
Hence weighted A.M. = 395 / 50 = $ 7.90. This can also help us on air miles calculator

Introduction to minutes to hour converter

Introduction to minutes to hour converter:

In this lesson let me help you on minutes to hours converter.Initially we calculate time from the shadow. Second is the unit of the term time. A basic unit of time division is the radian. At present clock or watch is one of the times calculating devices. Clock is one of the tools to measure the time duration of an event or incident. Time conversion is start from seconds and end with a year. Let us see minutes to hour converter in this article.

Converter Table:

60 micro second 1 millisecond
60 millisecond 1 second
60 seconds 1 minute
60 minutes 1 hour
24 hour 1 day
7 day 1 week
4 week 1 month
52 week 1 year
12 month 1 year
365 days or 366 days 1 year

Note Area of a Hexagon

Introduction for find the area of a hexagon

* In geometry, a hexagon is a polygon with six edges and six vertices. A regular hexagon has Schläfli symbol {6}.

* A regular hexagon has all sides of the same length, and all internal angles are 120°. The total of the internal angles of any hexagon is 720 degrees.
* A regular hexagon has 6 rotational symmetries (six lines of symmetry) and 6 reflection symmetries (rotational symmetry of order six), making up the dihedral group D6.

Example Sums for Finding Area of Hexagon Example 1:

Find the area of a regular hexagon whose side length is 9cm?

This can also help us on height in inches

Solution:

The formula to find the area of a hexagon with side length 2cm is

= 3 * square root of 3 * 9 2 / 2

= 3 * 1.732 * 81 /2

= 210.438cm 2

Note on Online Integrator

Introduction to integration:
In this section let me help you on online integrator. First let us see about the integration: The indefinite integral of f(x) with value to x. A function whose derivative is indicated by f(x).

∫dx acts like a pair of brackets about the function. Left-hand bracket has no meaning if it is followed by the closing right-hand bracket and integral sign cannot stand by itself, needs “dx” to complete. Integral sign tells the action to perform and “dx” tells the variable with respect to which we are integrating is x.
Integration- Objectives:

The following properties are available in integration:

• Be known with the definition of the definite integral as the limit of a sum.

• Understand the law for calculating definite integrals. This will also help us on how to figure percentages

• Know the report of the Fundamental Theorem of the Calculus and understand what it means.

• Be able to use exact integrals to find areas such as the area between a curve and the x-axis and the area between two curves.

• Understand the exact integrals can also used in other situations where the quantity required can expressed the limit of a sum.

This was just a brief introduction to online integrator. Keep reading may be in the next session let me help you on factors of 45

Note on Elementary math

Elementary math terms are the basic form of algebra having little or no proper information of mathematics beyond arithmetic. In arithmetic numbers and their arithmetical operations (such as +, −, ×, ÷) occur, in algebra one also uses symbols (such as x and y, or a and b) to denote numbers. Elementary Algebra can be distinguished from abstract algebra, a more advanced field of study.And now we see about the elementary math terms below in simple problems

Solution:-
Now we allocate the above equation:
1 - 3x +12 = 6x + 2 - 7
Collect like terms:
-3x +13 = 6x - 5
Add 3x to both sides of the equal sign: this will also help us on elementary linear algebra
-3x +13 + 3x = 6x - 5 + 3x
13 = 9x - 5
Add 5 to both sides:
18 = 9x
Divide both sides by 9 in above equation :
2 = x
